SPRA Council Member wins a prize from Engel UK

Chris Clark, SPRA Council Member, earned a day out at Knockhill Racing Circuit after winning a competition organised by Engel UK

SPRA Council Member, Chris Clark, earned himself a day out at Knockhill Racing Circuit, by winning a competition when he visited the Engel stand at the Plastics Design and Moulding Exhibition and Conference at Telford in May. Chris correctly identified the exact moulding technique for a series of components on display. He admitted that his task had been made easier, having attended an SPRA technical meeting at which Graeme Herlihy, MD of Engel UK, had demonstrated how the injection moulding process can be adapted to solve a number of moulding challenges. It obviously pays to attend SPRA meetings on a frequent basis.

Chris, who is Development Manager at Rosti Technical Plastics in Larkhall, has studied polymer science and engineering at a number of levels over the years and is currently in the process of completing a BEng (Hons) Polymer Engineering degree at Edinburgh Napier University, through part-time study.
